BREAKING: Minnesota Vikings Release Longtime WR Adam Thielen

The Cinderella run of Adam Thielen as a Minnesota Vikings has seen its final chapter.

The team released their longtime WR Friday morning after ten seasons in Minnesota.

Thielen, who signed to the Vikings as an un-drafted free agent out of Minnesota State Mankato, turned his name from universally unknown to one of the most unstoppable pass-catching forces in professional football, putting up multiple 1,000 yard seasons, multiple Pro Bowl appearances, and numerous NFL records including most consecutive 100-yard receiving games in history.

Thielen reportedly wants to join a Super Bowl contender, with the Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills and Ravens all being potential suitors.
