According to Albert Greer of Sports Illustrated, the Commanders are “open to listening” to trade offers from teams for pass-rusher.

The Commanders shockingly declined to up the fifth-year option on Chase Young’s rookie contract in April, which is the type of decision that leads others to believe that the team may be willing to part ways with the 2020 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Beer did mention he doesn’t think the Commanders would move Young:

Young, 24, was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, but injuries have limited him to only 27 games in his three seasons.
