The NFL is continuing to expand its international games in 2023 and based on this latest report, you’ll understand why.
With the NFL playing a total of five games overseas including games in London, the NFL is also playing two games in Frankfurt, Germany at Deustche Bank Park.
The first of two matchups in Germany will occur in Week 9 between the Miami Dolphins and reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Tickets went on sale Tuesday at noon in Germany, and according to ProFootballTalk, the tickets were sold out 15 minutes later.
The Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers played in Munich last season, and Allianz Arena gave the NFL a unique atmosphere. There’s little doubt that Deutsche Bank Park won’t be able to do the same. It will also host the Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots a week later in Week 10.
