Brother of Aaron Hernandez Arrested For Planning Two School Shootings

Dennis Hernandez, brother of disgraced former NFL star Aaron Hernandez, was arrested on the 18th of July in connection with alleged threats to shoot up both the University of Connecticut and Brown University.

The federal charges include transmitting interstate communications containing a threat to injure and interstate stalking, both of which carry a maximum of five years in prison.

According to federal prosecutors, one of the messages read, “I would recommend remaining away from there because when I go I’m taking down everything And don’t give a fuck who gets caught in the crossfire.”

“I’ve died for years now and now it’s others people turn. I’m prepared to give my life. So if I don’t get to see you on the outside know I love you always Not all shootings are bad I’m realizing. Some are necessary for change to happen.”

Hernandez also made threats to kill three people unrelated to the schools, even sending a threatening text message to one of them.

Hernandez was arrested at this home in Bristol, Connecticut, where the former UCONN QB requested the officers shoot him while he walked towards them with his hands up before being shot with a stun gun.

On his way to the hospital, he reportedly claimed he would kill anyone who made money off of his late brother.
