Rob Gronkowski Says Brian Daboll Is The Only Coach He Would Consider Coming Out Of Retirement To Play For

Rob Gronkowski has already come out of retirement once and now could potentially do it again?

According to the former NFL tight end, he doesn’t think anyone could convince him to come out of retirement, but there is one NFL coach who could have the best chance of persuading him…

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll.

“Brian Daboll, play for my hometown team,” Gronkowski told Kay Adams on a recent Up & Adams show. “I mean, he can’t get me out of retirement, but he’d have the best chance of getting me out of retirement.”

Gronkowski, a five-time Pro Bowler, added that he thinks Daboll wants him on New York’s roster.

In the past, the 34-year-old has said there’s a “slim chance” he would ever return to the NFL. Based on this latest interview, it seems that his mindset hasn’t changed.
