Tim Tebow’s Teammates At Florida Would Chase Him Around With Photos Of Naked Woman To Test Virginity

Tim Tebow was one of the greatest collegiate athletes in history and despite garnering that much attention, he remained a virgin throughout his tenure at the University of Florida.

In the upcoming Netflix documentary “Untold: Swamp Kings” – which explores the 200s-era Florida Gators and head coach Urban Meyer’s coaching style – Tebow’s former teammates recall went to extreme lengths to test Tebow’s virginity.

Former Gators linebacker Brandon Spikes — a second-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft — told a story during the four-part series and shared how he would test Tebow to see if he was “serious” about saving himself for marriage.

“I just wanted to see if he was real,” Spikes, who won two national championships with Tebow in the 2006 and 2008 seasons, said. “So I would like, you know, maybe have a picture, a nude picture on my phone or something and show it to him just to see how he would react.

“He was like, ‘Come on man! Like, you really get a man uncomfortable!’” Spikes said, “And I was like, ‘Oh, he’s serious.’”

Former Florida linebacker, Ryan Stamper, who was also a member of both title teams, recalled being prodded with questions about Tebow’s sex life.

“I was answering questions constantly about Tebow: ‘Hey, like Is he really a virgin?’ or ‘Is he really that perfect?’ or ‘Does he really just eat and sleep football?’” Stamper said. “I was like ‘Yeah, that’s who he is.’”

Tebow unapologetically expressed his faith — and grabbed headlines when he revealed he was a virgin prior to the start of his senior season in 2009.

When asked by a reporter at SEC media day if he was “saving himself for marriage,” Tebow laughed and said, “Yes, I am.”

Tebow attended the University of Florida for four years from 2006 to 2009. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and led the Gators to two National Championship titles in 2006 and 2008.

Netflix’s “Untold: Swamp Kings” premieres Aug. 23.
