Matt Eberflus might be coaching for his job on Thursday night.

According to NBC Sports’ Peter King, Chicago may fire Eberflus if the Bears lose on Thursday Night Football against the Washington Commanders.

“I would not be surprised if it is a bad loss Thursday and if the Bears make a change – it wouldn’t be surprising,” King said while a guest on  670 The Score.

It’s not surprising that the Bears are about to pull the plug on Eberflus as the Chicago Bears are once again the laughingstock of the National Football League and are coming off an embarrassing 31-28 loss to the Denver Broncos after giving up 17 unanswered points.
