Things got pretty heated between Jerry Jeudy and Steve Smith Sr.
Prior to the start of Week 6’s Thursday Night Football Game between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead, Steve Smith Sr. sounded off on Jerry Jeudy over his lack of maturity, referring to the Denver Broncos wide receiver as a ‘JAG’ (Just Another Guy) and even going on further to say he will personally advise teams not to trade for him.
Smith Sr.’s comments made their way to Jeudy, who did his best to have a confrontation with Smith Sr. live on-air on NFL Network but Smith Sr. wasn’t having it.
The former Carolina Panthers wide receiver turned NFL Network analyst said he’s “44-years-old” and not trying to “lose his job.”
Smith added:
“One of the biggest problems we have in the media especially as a young black man is sometimes… black on black crime. I’m not gonna engage where the national media can see two young African American men acting like we ain’t got no sense.” “He didn’t like what I said? That’s fine. I wanted to talk to him, he didn’t like it. So we move on.”
