A.J. Brown Calls Out Donovan McNabb After He Compared Brown To Terrell Owens

The reigning NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles lost their first game of the season on Sunday and despite being 5-1, their offense hasn’t looked as dominate as they did a year ago.

Former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb seems to think he knows why and told 94WIP in Philadelphia that the Eagles issues on offense are centered A.J. Brown and his complaints earlier in the season about not getting the football.

In fact, McNabb took his criticism of Brown a bit further by indirectly comparing him to Terrell Owens.

“I go back to before the complaint from A.J. Brown.. I’ve seen it before, I understand it, I know as a young QB you don’t want to be involved. Play calls are being more catered to try to featured instead of establishing a tempo and spread the ball around.”

A couple of hours later, A.J. Brown caught wind of McNabb’s comments and responded to the indirect comparison to Terrell Owens, who’s known for being the most notorious diva in NFL history.

A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts’ relationship is nothing like McNabb and Owens and it’s pretty reckless for McNabb to even insinuate this.

Nonetheless, the Eagles are still 5-1 and sitting atop the NFC East. They will host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football this week.
