Caleb Williams has a pretty high demand for whatever team drafts him in the 2024 NFL Draft.
According to a report from Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, Williams and his representatives would want a piece of ownership for the NFL team that will pick him in the 2024 NFL Draft, if he decides to enter.
Williams is widely regarded as the top overall prospect in April’s 2024 NFL Draft.
Williams won’t be the only quarterback to try this tactic as the report also adds that Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers tried to cut a similar deal with the New York Jets during his contract negotiations.
There’s no doubt that Williams isn’t a franchise-altering prospect but there’s zero chance any NFL owner would ever allow this.
