Jimmy Garoppolo Losing Nearly $100K For Every Game He Misses Due To Injury

When the Las Vegas Raiders signed Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason, they wanted to make sure they protect themselves in case the often-injured quarterback does get injured.

Unfortunately, that clause in the contract is costing Jimmy G a lot of money.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that with each game missed, Jimmy G is costing him $90,000 per game missed due to injury:

Garoppolo is out for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears after suffering a back injury late in the second quarter of the Raiders’ game against the New England Patriots.
