Fantasy football players and sports bettors aren’t the only ones wondering why the Atlanta Falcons didn’t disclose that Bijan Robinson wasn’t felling well prior to the game vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the NFL is “questioning” the Falcons regarding why they didn’t report Robinson’s status and when they were made aware of the situation.
The No. 8 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft had just one carry for three yards. During the game, Falcons HC Arthur Smith told FOX that Robinson “wasn’t feeling well” when asked about his lack of usage.
ESPN noted Robinson said he was “feeling completely out of it” and started “feeling weird” and having headaches on Saturday night. Robinson wasn’t tested for a concussion or given a COVID test.
The Falcons were able to beat the Buccaneers without Robinson’s services, 16-13 thanks to a game-winning field goal by Younghoe Koo.
