If there’s one thing that everyone can agree on, it’s that Shedeur Sanders doesn’t lack any sort of confidence.
In a recent interview of Zion Olojede of Complex.com, the Colorado quarterback compared his skill set to a combination of Tom Brady and Michael Vick:
“Well, I’ll say it’s a mixture because I’m able to stay in the pocket and deliver the ball. I can play like Brady, but I’m also able to extend plays and if it’s not there, take it like Vick. So it just depends, it’s funny whenever situations in the game occur, they’re like ‘hey, you gotta be Vick tonight. You gotta be Mike Vick tonight.’ So then that’s when we bring our legs involved.”
Brady, most notably with the New England Patriots and then the Tampa Bay Bucs, is widely considered the greatest of all-time, a seven-time Super Bowl winner and one of the greatest throwers of the football ever.
Vick, most notably with the Atlanta Falcons but later a success with the Philadelphia Eagles, demonstrated an insane running ability that in some ways changed the way the NFL looks at the QB position is played.
Sanders has thrown for 2,882 yards, 24 touchdowns and is completing 70.1 percent of his passes. The Buffaloes (4-5) will host Arizona on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.
