Teams find motivation in different ways even if it’s a completely fabricated story and that’s exactly what happened with the Green Bay Packers.
Someone on Twitter made up a quote where Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown saying that he “can’t name a single player on the Packers defense” and while it was made for people to have fun with it, the Packers used it as bulletin board material.
After the Packers 29-22 win, Packers defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery was heard telling Jordan Love to “ask 14 if he knows anyone on defense’s name now!”
The Packers defense was dominant, forcing three turnovers including one defensive touchdown. The win got the Packers to 5-6 overall as they continue to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot.
