The San Francisco 49ers were outclassed on Saturday night, losing 41-6, in the NFC Divisional Round to their arch-rival Seattle Seahawks.
The game wasn’t ever particularly close. In fact, it’s the second time in three weeks that the 49ers were outclassed by the Seahawks. Back in Week 18, the Seahawks beat the 49ers, 13-3, to secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Despite all that, 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir says the 49ers would’ve beaten the Seahawks in a “landslide” if not for the plethora of injuries the 49ers sustained this season.
A rough way to end what was a promising season for the 49ers but based on what we saw tonight, I don’t know if Nick Bosa, Fred Warner or George Kittle would’ve made that much of a difference. The 49ers were overmatched on all three phases by the Seahawks.
