Michigan Wolverines legend Desmond Howard has come under sharp criticism for comments he made about colleague Pete Thamel on ESPN’s “College GameDay” prior to Saturday’s Ohio State-Michigan game.
Howard questioned why Thamel was reporting from inside Michigan Stadium instead of outside with the football crowd, which is what he’s done all season. Thamel had allegedly been receiving threats from Wolverines fans, so the reporting from inside the stadium was done for security reasons.
