The back-and-forth, high scoring NFC showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys made Amazon Prime streaming history.

The Week 13 Thursday Night Football Game averaged a 7.3 rating and 15.26 million viewers on Amazon Prime Video, making it the highest-rated and most-watched Thursday Night Football game since it moved to Amazon Prime last year. The previous high was 7.1 and 15.05 million viewers for Vikings-Eagles in Week 2 of this season.

According to Jon Lewis of Sports Media Watch, Thursday Night Football on Prime Video is now averaging 12.59 million viewers this season, which is up nearly 30 percent from the “same point of last season.”

As people continue to cut the cords and streaming is pulling in the ratings that they are, it seems like the world has transitioned over to the new way of watching sports.
