Steelers Safety Damontae Kazee Suspended For The Rest Of The Season For Hit On Colts WR

The NFL apparently isn’t playing around anymore with player safety…

Steelers Safety Damontae Kazee has been fined this season for hits he’s made on opposing players, and after the shot he had on Colts WR Michael Pittman Sunday, the league has laid down the hammer, suspending him for the remainder of the season, including potential playoff games.

Here’s the hit that Kazee delivered to Pittman Sunday, one that was immediately flagged and got him ejected from the game.

Kazee had been fined five times for unnecessary roughness this season for a total of $59,030, with the sixth infraction leaving the league having no choice but to bring a penalty that would hopefully get their point across.
