The Tennessee Titans shockingly decided to end Mike Vrabel’s tenure as their head coach, firing him. But many people thought they could’ve traded the 48-year-old head coach considering how many teams are looking for a head coach and would be interested.
Their reasoning as to why they didn’t consider a trade will upset Titans fans even more.
Per The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the team felt it was too difficult to try to find a trade partner and instead decided just to fir whim:
Considering this is the same organization that thought it wasn’t too complicated to trade A.J. Brown, this comes off as very concerning about the state of affairs in Tennessee.
Nonetheless, Vrabel is free to sign with any team and there will be plenty of teams that will consider him including a team he’s very much familiar with — the New England Patriots.
