One of the staple coaches in the NFL is no more.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schetfer, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll will no longer be on the sideline at Lumen Field next season for the Hawks.
The 72-year-old is out as head coach, but is expected to remain within the organization in some form.
Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is an early favorite to fill in for Carroll’s void.
After 14 seasons as coach of the Seahawks, Carroll finishes with a 137-89 record, two Super Bowl appearances, and a Super Bowl win, which we all know should have been two.
