REPORT: Steelers Expected To Explore Signing Ryan Tannehill In Free Agency

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback situation heading into the 2024 season is very bleak and the team seems to be interested in adding a veteran.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafalo, the Steelers are expected to look into signing Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill this offseason, reuniting him with his former offensive coordinator – Arthur Smith.

Tannehill and Smith were together with the Titans during the 2019 and 2020 season.

Tannehill is a free agent this offseason after spending five seasons with the Titans. He started eight games last season, suffered an ankle injury and ultimately was replaced by rookie Will Levis as the starter.
