REPORT: CBS Made An Insane Amount Of Money During Overtime Of Super Bowl 58

Super Bowl 58 wasn’t just a big winner for the Kansas City Chiefs, who hoisted the Lombardi Trophy after a 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

CBS announced that viewership of the game reached a new all-time high, drawing 123.4 million average viewers across all platforms including CBS Television Network Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision, and CBS Sports, Univision and NFL digital properties, including NFL+.

They also made a whooping $650 million in estimated ad revenue and possibly an extra $50 million or more in ad revenue solely because the game went into overtime.

The CBS will next host a Super Bowl LXII in 2028.
