BREAKING: Kirk Cousins Is Signing With Atlanta Falcons

It’s official: Kirk Cousins is an Atlanta Falcon.

Cousins’ agent made the announcement on Twitter/X that his client will be signing a four-year deal with Atlanta.

The 35-year-old Cousins will add another chapter to his career. He was drafted in the 4th round by the Washington Commanders in 2012. After spending the first there seasons as a backup in Washington, Cousins became the starting QB for three seasons in the nation’s capital.

Following the 2017 seasons, Cousins left Washington for the Minnesota Vikings, where he ended up spending the last six seasons. Following the end of the 2023 seasons, a year where he tore his Achilles, Cousins departs.

He will be a significant upgrade for the Falcons, who struggled with Tyler Heinieke and Desmond Ridder last season.
