BREAKING: NFL Announces Pittsburgh Will Host 2026 NFL Draft

The Steelers and the city of Pittsburgh have been selected to host the 2026 NFL Draft, the league announced on Wednesday.

The 2025 NFL Draft is set to be held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

The Draft was once held solely in New York City but since 2015, the NFL has decided to rotate host cities. Chicago hosted the Draft in 2015 and 2016 before the league transitioned to changing the location every year.

The rotation of host cities have been a huge success for the NFL and cities hosting the event, with fans traveling to see players selected by their favorite team. Detroit set an all-time record with more than 700,000 fans attending the 2024 NFL draft. The draft produced an estimated $165 million in revenue for businesses in the city.

The Steelers submitted a bid in February to host the 2026 or 2027 draft. Rich Fitzgerald, the executive of Allegheny County, estimated the city of Pittsburgh would make nine figures on hosting the draft.
