Being a New York Jets fan is tough.
Not only has the team not been to the playoffs in over a decade but it’s been over 50 years since they last appeared in a Super Bowl. With the arrival, of Aaron Rodgers, Jets fans are hoping that drought can end. Despite Rodgers’ first year in the Big Apple not going as planned (Rodgers tore his Achilles in Week 1), Jets fans are still hoping the former NFL MVP can lead them to the promise land.
At the American Century Championship, an emotional fan approached Rodgers, pleading for a Super Bowl win. Rodgers consoled the fan and responded by telling him, “We’ll get a Super Bowl,” causing the fan to break down even more.
The Jets will open the 2024 season in San Francisco against the 49ers on Monday Night Football.
