Aaron Rodgers Says The Jets And Giants Belong To New Jersey And Not New York

Aaron Rodgers has never been shy to give his take on a controversial topic regardless if it’s sports or politics.

On Monday, Rodgers was a guest on Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take and dropped his two cents on the New York vs New Jersey debate when it comes to the Giants and Jets.

When asked about where he was living, Rodgers’ response surely made Jets fans from New Jersey happy.

“Nobody [on the team] lives in New York,” Rodgers said on Pardon My Take. “If you’re a Giant you can, but I don’t know why you would just because of the traffic into the tunnel. I joke about, I know the [practice facility] stadium used to be on Long Island, but we’re the New Jersey Jets. So are the Giants.”

With the Jets (Florham Park) and Giants (East Rutherford), Rodgers answer makes sense from a geographic standpoint.

Rodgers, 40, tore his left Achilles tendon four snaps into the Jets’ 2023 season opener against the Buffalo Bills. The pressure is on for the future Hall of Fame quarterback to end the Jets playoff drought which is currently the longest in the NFL at 13 years.
