Seattle Seahawks Sign Safety Julian Love To A Three-Year Contract Extension

The Seattle Seahawks have reached an agreement on a three-year contract extension with Pro Bowl safety Julian Love that is worth up to $36 million, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The 26-year-old was entering the final year of a two-year, $12 million deal he signed with Seattle as a free agent last year. Love earned himself an extension after telling a team-high four interceptions last season and making his first Pro Bowl despite splitting time at safety with Jamal Adams.

Love, who played in all 17 games, finished second on the team in tackles with 183. He recorded 10 passes defensed and a pair of forced fumbles.

A fourth-round pick in 2019 out of Notre Dame, Love spent his first four seasons with the New York Giants and was voted a team captain in 2022.
