The New York Giants Color-Coded 2024 NFL Draft Board Was Leaked On HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks

This year’s was the first year we got an offseason edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” and the it featured the New York Giants.

The show gave us in in-depth look at the offseason decision making which included their decision to part ways with Saquon Barkley, trade for star pass rusher Brian Burns, and their attempt to trade up in the draft to select a quarterback but ultimately selecting LSU WR Malik Nabers.

But the latest episode gave us a little too much information (that the Giants probably didn’t want getting out).

In the war room during the 2024 NFL Draft, the HBO cameras picked up the Giants’ draft board that included color-coded designations next to a plethora of players. You can see the picture below

If those designation-color codes are correct, the board shows the Giants took a handful of high-quality leaders in the draft including safety Tyler Rubin and linebacker Darius Muasau. It would also indicate that they like the positional versatility of Andru Phillips. And then there is quarterback Joe Milton, who has the only yellow designation on the board, which could indicate a possible positional change?

Most intriguing, however, is that it would also seem to indicate that the talent of Malik Nabers, who they took in the first round, outweighed the character and leadership qualities of Rome Odunze.

Either way, this new Offseason Hard Knocks series has been awesome and I hope the NFL continues to do it..
