For four years, Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen were one of the best quarterback-wide receiver duos in the NFL. The two appeared in the playoffs four times, while also taking home four Pro Bowl honors. Diggs averaged 111.25 catches for 1,343 yards and 9.25 touchdowns over 17 games per year.
Despite the success on the field, the two seemed to have issues and the relationship wasn’t as good as it was led on to be. Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans this past offseason and will team up with second-year quarterback C.J. Stroud.
Earlier this week, Allen took a moment to reflect on his team with the talented wide out and made some eye-popping remarks.
“Stef’s a great player and what he brought to the team was special,” Allen said. “I don’t know if I’d say miss. He was a guy who was reliable, you can look to. He’s going to have the juice every and every day. I’m sure he’s bringing it over there in Houston. So definitely, you can’t say that you don’t miss that. But I’m very happy with what we got going on here and how hard the guys have been working.”
The Bills will look to replace Diggs by adding Curtis Samuel and drafting Florida State’s Keon Coleman with the 33rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
