Bengals’ CB Cam Taylor-Britt Not Concerned About Xavier Worthy: “Speed. That’s About It”

The Cincinnati Bengals will travel to Kansas City to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs on Sunday and while there are plenty of familiar faces for the Bengals to go up against on the other side, there’s a new one too.

The Chiefs added WR Xavier Worthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft and the former Texas Longhorn made an impact on opening night in Week 1 when he scored two touchdowns while showcasing his dazzling speed.

But Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt doesn’t sound worried about facing Worthy.

“Speed. That’s about it. He can run straight,” Taylor-Britt told reporters. “Run jet sweeps and just run straight. He can’t do too much else, that’s about it.

I feel like you put your hands on him, he’s only a hundred something pounds, so if you put hands on him, you’ll stop his speed, so basically get hands on him.”

The Bengals are hoping to avoid their third-straight 0-2 start. Kickoff is Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
