Oh no.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left the game against the Buffalo Bills have suffering an apparent head injury.
Miami trailed Buffalo 31-10 in late in the third quarter and faced a fourth-and-4 from the Bills‘ 13-yard line.Tagovailoa scrambled for a first down and rather then choosing to slide, lowered his shoulder into Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
Tagovailoa appeared woozy and wobbled on the ground after the play. He got back to his feet during an injury timeout and walked gingerly off the field.
It took less than six minutes but the Dolphins have ruled Tua out with a concussion:
Tagovailoa, who signed a four-year, $212.4 million contract extension in July, didn’t miss a start last year but suffered at least two concussions in 2022.
The Dolphins trail the Bills, 31-10.
