BREAKING: Chiefs WR Hollywood Brown Expected To Miss Entire 2024 Regular Season After Having Surgery

The Chiefs just got some bad news on Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Hollywood Brown is expected to miss the entire 2024 regulars season after having shoulder on his injured shoulder.

Schefter did, however, also report that Brown could be back in time for the postseason, but not any sooner than mid-January.

The 27-year-old wide receiver did not play during the Chiefs’ Week 1 win over the Baltimore Ravens and has been out since suffering the injury during the team’s first preseason game in August.

Earlier this month, he was given a 4-6 week recovery timetable, but after further evaluation it was determined surgery would be the best next step as the shoulder was not healing properly.

Brown posted on Twitter/X Friday saying he was “disappointed” and frustrated” about his injury.

Brown signed a one-year contract with the Chiefs in March, with the deal worth up to $11 million. He spent the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, making 51 receptions for 574 yards and four touchdowns.
