Apparently the Jets acquiring Davante Adams this week has many teams around the league thinking they are open to trading WR Garrett Wilson.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, “multiple teams” have reached. out to the New York Jets about a potential trade for Garett Wilson. The Jets have heard from some of these teams but “are not planning to trade Wilson,” sources told Schefter.
The Jets acquired Adams last Tuesday in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Jets wide receiver room is now crowded with Adams, Wilson, Allen Lazard and Mike Williams. While the Jets may move one of the wide receivers, it will not be Garrett Wilson.
Wilson has made 41 catches for 399 yards and three touchdowns in six games this season.
