REPORT: “Several Teams” Have Reached Out To Colts Inquiring About Trading For QB Anthony Richardson

Earlier this week, the Indianapolis Colts shocking announced that they were benching former No. 4 overall pick Anthony Richardson following the Colts’ loss to the Houston Texans in Week 8.

The team will turn to Joe Flacco to start against the Minnesota Vikings and head coach Shane Steichen announced that Flacco will be the starter for the remainder of the season.

This has many teams believing that Anthony Richardson could be available for a trade ahead of Tuesday’s deadline and according to Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports, “several teams” have reached out to the Colts inquiring about Richardson.

We’ll see if someone can make an enticing offer for the Colts to pull the trigger on the quarterback they drafted with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
