George Pickens Restrained By Security After Altercation With Browns’ Greg Newsome On Final Play

Another week, another George Pickens incident for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On the final play of Thursday night’s loss against the Cleveland Browns, Pickens got into a tussle with Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II. The two were going at it as Russell Wilson launched a ball into the end zone and saw it get deflected to the ground, resulting in the 24-18 Browns win.

During the play, Newsome drove Pickens out of the back of the end zone, with the receivers arm draped around the defender’s helmet. Prime Video’s broadcast later cut to Pickens being held back by security and at least one game official, with Newsome approaching the group to offer some parting words, following the play.

Here’s the entire sequence.

We’ll see if the league office fines Pickens for this latest incident.
