REPORT: Chiefs Stranded At Kansas City Airport After Closure Due To Ice Storm, Unable To Takeoff For Denver

Ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs Week 18 matchup against the Denver Broncos, some severe weather as swept into the Kansas City-area that has delayed their ability to take off for Denver.

According to a report from CBS Sports Lead Tracy Wolfson, the Kansas City Chiefs’ plane is “stranded” due to ice accumulation at Kansas City International Airport ahead of the defending Super Bowl champions’ Week 18 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

The Chiefs-Broncos game is set for tomorrow at 4:25 p.m ET. Depending on how long the KCI airfield remains closed, it may impact the start time for Sunday’s game.
