Brittany Mahomes hopes ‘BillsMafia’ learned their lesson after Sunday’s 32-29 Chiefs’ victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game.
Shortly after Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs eliminated Josh Allen and the Bills, Brittany posted a message to Bills fans on her Instagram for the “absolute disgusting” behavior exhibited in Week 11 of the regular season, when a Kermit the Frog puppet in a Mahomes jersey and wig hung from a pole with a noose around its neck.
“Do we remember this Buffalo? Absolutely disgusting…” Brittany Mahomes, 29, wrote. “So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people.”
Mahomes, whose voice has drawn comparisons to Kermit’s voice, lost to the Bills in Buffalo back on November 17th, 30-21. It was the only defeat for the Chiefs in a game that Mahomes started.
Sunday marked the second time the Chiefs and Bills met this year, with the reigning Super Bowl champs getting the upper hand as they punched their ticket to a third straight Super Bowl.
