Travis Kelce didn’t get a ring this year, but he did give one out.
The Chiefs TE proposed to pop superstar Taylor Swift this past weekend.
The two met when Kelce attended Swift’s “Eras Tour” show at Arrowhead Stadium in July of 2023, where he tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his number but failed to connect with her backstage. After the failed attempt, Kelce discussed the experience on his “New Heights” podcast, which is how Swift learned of his interest.
Swift found his gesture romantic and courageous, leading to her team reaching out to his, setting up their first date and the start of their relationship.
Just two years later and the power couple are engaged.
