Mike Tomlin Calls Chris Boswell A ‘Serial Killer’ After Steelers’ Game-Winning 60-Yard Field Goal vs Jets

Chris Boswell proved on Sunday why he’s one of the best kickers in NFL history.

Boswell kicked the game-winning 60-yard field in the final minute of Sunday’s 34-32 win over the New York Jets to open the 2025 season.

Mike Tomlin praised his star kicker with a unique compliment in the most pressing moments.

“I can’t say enough about Boz,” Tomlin said. “Man, our kicker is a serial killer. He’s got a low pulse rate. He can’t wait to deliver.”

It was Boswell’s second field goal of the day, topping the 56-yarder he made in the first half.

The kick was Boswell’s 11th career game winner in the final two minutes of regulation or overtime, extending his own franchise record.

Boswell entered his 11th season as the fourth-most accurate kicker in NFL history and continues to increase his case as one of the greatest kickers of all time.
