Ben Johnson is really trying to change the culture and set a standard in his first year as the Bears head coach.
After a rough 0-2 start to the 2025 season, Johnson publicly called out his players during Wednesday’s press conference. The Bears are coming off an embarrassing beatdown against Ben Johnson’s former team – the Detroit Lions – in Week 2, losing 52-21.
Following the blowout, Johnson started his presser with a blunt message on how he views his players’ level of effort during practice.
“I think our practice habits are yet to reflect a championship caliber team,” Johnson said.
Johnson is hoping this message gets across to his team as they look to get their first win of these season in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys at Solider Field.
