REPORT: Eagles ‘Big Dom’ DiSandro Fined $75K For Texting On Sidelines During Preseason Game

This is a pretty significant fine for a non-player or coach.

According to Derrick Gunn, the Philadelphia Eagles head of security Big Dom DiSandro was fined $75,000 last week for texting from the sidelines during the Eagles’ preseason game against the New York Jets back on August 22nd.

DiSandro was previously fined $100,000 and banned during the 2023 season after a sideline altercation with 49ers’ linebacker Dre Greenlaw.

NFL rules prohibit players, coaches, and most staff from using personal cell phones and electronic devices on the sidelines and in coaches’ booths from 90 minutes before kickoff until the game concludes, including halftime.

The Eagles are gearing up for a NFC Divisional Round rematch against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.
