A.J. Brown isn’t the only Eagles’ wide receiver that is frustrated.
According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, Devonta Smith is also frustrated with his role in the Eagles’ offense and while Brown has been more open about his frustration, both Brown and Smith want something to change, esspically in the red zone.
“Right now for the Eagles, it’s run, run, run, Hurts off-schedule pass, tush push,” Dianna Russini writes. “For their receivers, that means when they get to the red zone, they aren’t getting the ball – and they know it. Hence the frustrations.”
Brown has just 14 catches for 151 yards and one touchdown on the season, but 109 of those yards came in Week 3. He has two games with less than 10 receiving yards. Smith has 17 receptions for 158 yards and one score.
The Eagles might be 4-0 and the reigning defending Super Bowl champions but that doesn’t mean there isn’t drama inside their locker room.
