Giants’ Brian Burns Went Off On Giants Defensive Play-Calling As He Walked Off Field After Loss vs Broncos

The New York Giants suffered a heart-breaking 33-32 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday after Denver erased a 28-6 lead in the fourth quarter, scoring 33 points after being held scoreless through the first three quarters.

The back and forth 4th quarter saw the Giants take the lead with 0:30 seconds remaining only for the Broncos to get into field goal range and kick a game-winning field goal.

After the game, Giants star pass rusher Brian Burns was spotted showing frustration with defensive coordinator Shane Bowen, yelling “we dropped eight into coverage” as he came off the field. Burns also threw out a number of profanity laced words.

Burns isn’t the only one that is fed up with Shane Bowen, at the end of the game, head coach Brian Daboll was seen yelling at Bowen on the sidelines over his defensive play-calling.

The loss dropped the Giants to 2-5 on the season and is the second time they lost the game because of some questionable decisions by their defense. Back in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, Dak Prescott was able to get into field goal range with less than 30 seconds remaining just like Bo Nix and the Broncos were able to today.
