Dolphins fans rejoice!
Chris Grier headed into Thursday Night Football against the Ravens as the longest tenured GM in sports without a playoff win, and the 28-6 loss was the straw that finally broke the camel’s back.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross met with Chris Grier Friday morning with the result being the two deciding to mutually part ways, of course essentially fired without being “fired”.
Dolphins senior personnel executive Champ Kelly will fill in as the interim GM, heading the Dolphins decisions leading up to and past Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline, per sources.
Head coach Mike McDaniel will still be retained with no other changes being made to Miami’s coaching staff.
