REPORT: Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. ‘Feared’ To Have Suffered A Season-Ending Injury

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has feared to have suffered a season-ending knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Schefter adds that Penix is seeking a second opinion.

With Penix Jr. sidelined indefinitely, the Falcons will turn to quarterback Kirk Cousins, as they sit at 3-7 and have their playoff hopes on life support.

It’s been up and down season for Penix Jr., who completed just 60.1% of his passes for 1,982 yards and nine touchdowns to there interceptions.
