The Tennessee Titans will interview former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett for their vacant head coaching job, Adam Schefter reports.
Garrett, who was apart of three Super Bowl-winning teams with Dallas in the 1990s, coached them from 2011 through 2019, after becoming the interim head coach during the 2010 season.
Garrett holds a regular-season record of 85-67 in the regular season, with three playoff appearances, going 2-3.
He won the NFL Coach of the Year award in 2016, which was Dak Prescott’s rookie season. After Tony Romo was injured due to a back injury, Prescott, a fourth-round rookie, led the team to a 13-3 record.
Garrett last worked in the NFL as the New York Giants offensive fcorodiatnor from 2020 to 2021. He joined NBC Sports in 2022 apart of their Sunday Night Football crew.
He then worked as offensive coordinator for the Giants in 2020 and 2021. He joined NBC Sports in 2022, where he’s stuck sitting next to me every Sunday during football season.
