New Yorkers Were Livid With Empire State Building Being Lit Up With Patriots Colors After Super Bowl Berth 

The New England Patriots are back in the Super Bowl after defeating the Denver Broncos, 10-7, in the AFC Championship Game and the Empire State Building decided to celebrate the win. 

The only issue is the Empire State Building is in New York, where the Patriots-haters and New York Jets fans reside. 

Following the win, the Empire State Building was lit up with colors of the New England Patriots and New Yorkers were absolutely livid about it. 

Wait, is this a joke? You are in New York! You think if the Jets won they would be lighting buildings up in green in Boston? I feel like I’m having a stroke.
