Remember that crazy ad for Madden NFL 15 last year, featuring Kevin Hart? Well it’s about to get a little more weird.
To promote Madden NFL 16, which releases on August 25, EA Sports is revealing “Madden: The Movie”, a 5-minute, action packed themed trailer featuring Dave Franco, who appeared in last year’s ad with Kevin Hart and actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
But this year, the ad is a lot stranger. There’s Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, playing the role of “Half Top” firing footballs out of a strange jet pack. The “movie” also has several other NFL cameos too, including Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Yup, it’s Madden Season.
