There’s always a debate on whether college football or professional football is better. Match-ups, scheduling, playoff formats, players, and fan bases, they’re all taken into account.
College football reminded us Friday night (Saturday in Australia) why they still rein supreme in the category of unpredictability, with an onside kick coming on the first first play of the 2016 college football season.
The Rainbow Warriors of Hawaii called the play, but the ball was recovered by the Cal Bears, whom are facing off vs each other halfway across the globe in the land down under.
The season began with an onside kick. Don’t ever leave us again college football.https://t.co/obbpvo9nRp

Within 1 minute and 4 seconds of the game starting, there had already been this failed onside kick attempt and a touchdown.
