Uh oh.
There are photos circulating on social media allegedly showing items that were stolen from the New England Patriots during their visit to Mercedes-Benz Stadium when they faced the Falcons back on Nov. 18. One of the items includes Mac Jones’ playbook wristband:
Apparently the Atlanta Falcons have an employee that has been stealing these items. They’ve also stolen socks from Patriots back-up quarterback Jared Stidham:
The Atlanta Falcons will be playing host to the Tampa Bay Bucs this week, so security will need to be beefed up to make sure nobody tries to steal from Tom Brady and company.
Following the Patriots’ 34-28 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, Brady immediately realized his jersey had been taken from a bag he had put it in in the locker room.
As you know, back in 2017 Tom Brady’s stolen jersey from the Super Bowl was recovered after being found in the possession of a member of the international media. The then-New England Patriots quarterback’s game-worn jersey from Super Bowl LI and another jersey went missing from Super Bowl XLIX.
The Houston police classified the alleged theft of Brady’s Super Bowl LI jersey as a first-degree felony.
